Charlize Theron Leaves The Tourist, Angelina Jolie To Step In

The Spyglass produced thriller, The Tourist was to star Sam Worthington and Chalize Theron, however Theron has opted out of the movie and sources say it is Angelina Jolie who will be taking on the role.
The story is a remake of the 2005 french film, Anthony Zimmer centering on an American tourist who, on behalf of Interpol, goes undercover to entrap a former lover who's a suspected global criminal.
Theron had long been attached to film but according to The Risky Buz Blog, she isn't the only one being replaced. Bharat Nalluri who previously directed, Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day is also off the project as of last week, and producers are now searching for a director to pair with Jolie.
Not surprisingly this change in the line up has sparked many comparisons about Theron and Jolie, but what is surprising is that Theron seems to be edging Jolie out just a bit. I don't know about that one guys, I just finished watching Wanted the other day and Jolie still looked pretty smok'en in that.
