Stallone To Direct And Star In Rambo 5
You know, there are certain people in this world who fit into my category of Not-Knowing-When-To-Quit. Michael Jordan, Brett Favre and people who say they're still going to work after winning a gazillion dollars in the lottery all fit into this group of mine. Today, Sylvester Stallone has been added to this list by announcing he's directing and starring in Rambo...again.
Variety reports that Nu Image/Millennium Films have given the go-ahead for Rambo 5. The film will have Rambo trying to rescue a girl who was kidnapped at the U.S.-Mexico border as he fights through drug lords and human trafficking.
The 2008 release of Rambo grossed $42 million domestically and $113 million worldwide. Production for this new project is expected to get underway in the spring of next year.
I'm somewhat hesitant about looking forward to the box office ten years from now when our choices will be Saw 20 or Rambo 15.
How do you feel about another Rambo movie?
