I happened to see the teaser for Inception when I went to go see Inglourious Basterds, and my thoughts are the same as the couple who were seated in back of me. After the preview ended the man said, "The effects looked kick ass in that.." to which the woman replied, "Yeah but what is it about?" My thoughts exactly.

For those of you who haven't seen the preview yet, most of the information about the movie that's available usually fits in one sentence: Enter a world where your mind is the scene of the crime. What Inception is really about, has yet to be revealed, but so far it does look awesome. Complete with a very Matrix-esque fight scene in a hallway. So for now we'll trust director Christopher Nolan who, even before he delivered The Dark Knight, brought us such films as Memento and The Prestige.



Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page, Michael Caine, and Cillian Murphy, Inception is set to hit theaters July 16th, 2010.
