Even though the 2009 comic-con San Diego International is a few weeks away /Film is revealing that the first glimpses of Kick-Ass, the new Mathew Vaughn adaptation of the graphic novel by the same title, will be released at the film assembly.

The site is also reporting that some of the cast, exactly who will be announced later, along with Mathew Vaughn will be in attendance for the film's panel which is scheduled to take place on Thursday, July 23rd sometime later in the day.

Vaughn also released some brand new photos to Ifilm from the movie including this one below of Chloe Moretz as Mindy Macready, better known as the eleven year-old, cold-blooded assassin, Hit Girl.
