EW is reporting thatCameron Diaz, who can be seen later on this year starring in Richard Kelly's The Box, "is considering an offer to play the female lead in Green Hornet."

The film, which is set to start later on this summer, will be directed by Michael Gondry and is based on a script Seth Rogen and Superbad co-writer Evan Goldberg, drew up together.

I'm not really enthused about The Green Hornet movie, maybe it's because I was never in to the series. Or maybe it's because I think the film went in a weird direction when they decided to cast Rogen as the Green Hornet. Oh I think he's a talented guy in all....but as The Green Hornet???

Does anyone else feel weird about Rogen being The Green Hornet?
